so much to say, so much to say, so much to say, so much to say

I know, it has been an insane amount of time since I last posted, and I do so miss it.

I decided last week to give up my Facebook account after realizing that my 2 year old gets fussiest when she catches me checking my phone – usually to see what all my friends and family are doing on Facebook.

There is something seriously wrong with the picture that I am spending time with the most wonderful and smart little girl who adores me, yet I can’t stay off-line for more than an hour. So it is time to move on.

Although I have gained some really awesome friends and reconnected with some fabulous people from my past, I have also lost friends through political, religious, child-rearing, and relationship posts on Facebook.

It’s becoming a pick up spot, at least for me, and Facebook is not where I want to meet my next partner.

Resuming this blog is another reason I want to leave Facebook. This started as a sounding board for me, being a first time and single mother, and I do so miss sharing my stories about my daughter Dani.

Over the next couple weeks I will hopefully be posting a lot more frequently, if not daily because – I have so much to say, so much to say, so much to say, so much to say…

And yes, if you haven’t realized by now, all my blog titles are lyrics from Dave Matthews songs, I am a huge fan! šŸ™‚

  1. I look forward to reading you new stories and insights. I have recently come to a similar conclusion but not strong enough to go off the grid so to speak but have chosen to devote more time with Emma and check on work breaks or when she is in bed! šŸ™‚
